Welcome to the USS Livingstone...

The USS Livingstone, a nebula class starship serving Star Fleet in troubled times. Serving in the very frontiers of federation territory, she treads dangerous waters. With interchangeable pods, the Livingstone can be ready for anything, all she requires is a capable and dynamic crew. A crew that are ready for anything this treacherous galaxy can throw at them. The question is: Do you have what it takes?

Voyage to Mutiny

The last mission before her refit was for the USS Livingstone to survey Lippershey 2. The Livingstone’s crews task was straightforward they were to observe a pre warp civilization roughly equivalent to early in the 16 century Earth. Starfleet believed that this planet was in the process of discovering the telescope, and therefore would have the ability to look into space for the first time. The mission was to assess the state of technology and  position marker buoys around the system to warn ships not to intervene in the planet's development.

The Livingstone is to return to Lippershey 2. Carry out an anthropological survey and discover the state of the planet's technology. This means that the ship and crew will be traversing the same area of space on which the mutiny occurred.

Hans Lippershey looking through two lenses at once

The ship is named after David Livingstone a Scottish an explorer of Africa, one of the most popular national heroes of the late-19th-century in Victorian Britain. He had a mythical status due to his working-class "rags-to-riches" inspirational story. He was also a scientific investigator and explorer, imperial reformer and anti-slavery crusader. Holding his values as our guild, this ship will chart unknown space, fight oppression when we encounter it and play apart in Humanity’s peaceful expansion in to the unknown.

The simulation has been established for over 6 months now and is about to start another deep space mission.

Could you take on the challenge and become part of the Livingstone’s award winning crew If so, follow the link on the left. The adventure awaits…

Hi Crew

I have updated the site and also put several recruiting posts on fleet website and on Facebook. Please if you wish to add any ideas about the front page please let me know.

The new mission is up and started, although, firstly we have to travel back to DS3 to collect the sensor pod. I will instigate some JP’s to get the mission up and running.

I have had 2 returns from the survey so I will give that another week and then make a few awards.

Commander James Stevenson,
Commanding Officer, USS Livingstone,
Task Force 47 C "THE KENSAI",

The USS Livingstone has won the Gold Merit for June. Well done to all the crew who due to their ideas and input to the sim have made this possible.

There are several joint posts to finish before we can leave Antos 4 spaceport, if possible it would be great if we could wrap these up before the end of the weekend. Then I’ll wright the next stage on Thursday.
Well done again, I am proud of our team’s achievements.

Commander James Stevenson

Good Day Crew,

I have just compiled the report for the Fleet and we managed 39 posts last month!!

This means that we contributed to the story 39 times, thank you and well done. Also we have past a 1000 hits on the site, although a large number of those are us, the crew logging on I still feel this is worth celebrating.

I'm going to start some joint post's today. And dish out a few ideas for posts and if you get chance enjoy the delights Antos 4 spaceport has to offer and post it.

Thank you.

Commander James Stevenson

James stammered, how could they?

"There must be another ship?" He said James could feel his face flushing as the anger surged through him. The Admiral stared impassively ahead.

There is not, I appreciate the history your ship has with Lippershey 2. But you are to return and finish the…

Voyage to Mutiny

James opened the door of the Zambezi Squadron’s hanger to a scene of destruction, several of the fights looked nothing more than a tangle of twisted metal. James surveyed the mangled fighters with an eye of sadness; the squadron had done its job but had paid a price for this…

Voyage to Mutiny
Posted on Fri Oct 6th, 2017 @ 9:35pm by Lieutenant Rolvek & Lieutenant Eric O'Shea

Eric awoke again in sick bay and glowered. At least he assumed he was glowering. The fact that he was still here was a really good indicator, sans a mirror, that he was glowering.

And that was depressing.

He sighed and went to activate his contact and realized they had…

Voyage to Mutiny
Posted on Fri Oct 6th, 2017 @ 5:14pm by Lieutenant Jonathan Westbrook

“Lieutenant eh? Very good son. The Livingstone may not be the flagship, but she’s a good ship nonetheless.”

Inwardly, Jonathan sighed. A good ship? The Livingstone was a great ship. He’d put it and it’s crew up against anything the universe could throw at it.

Outwardly Jonathan smiled “Yup she’s…
